He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Douglas and Ethel Salome Penka (Johnson); and his brother-in-law David Jones. He is survived by: his stepson Bruce Hensley of Grove, Oklahoma; his siblings, Bob Penka (Leah) of Ensign, Kansas, Mina Jones of Idaho Falls, Mary Alice Lee (Gene) of Rigby and Veva Immroth (Gary) of Blackfoot, Idaho; and his granddaughter Lindsey Teeters. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
