Laverne A. Leis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2019, at the age of 91, Laverne A. Leis (Fowler, Kansas), born in Minneola, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laverne A. Leis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Hoffman and Kate Hoffman (Berblinger); and her siblings, Dorothy Herring, Fern Beckerman and Harold Hoffman (Bud).
She is survived by: her children, Homemaker, Aide, Randy Leis (Diane) of Fowler, Kansas, Deborah Mahan (Ron) of Tallahassee, Barbara Whitehead (late Steve) of Wichita, Peggy Higgins (Robert) of Wichita and Jan McGregor (Rick) of Wichita, Kansas; her brother Clarence; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Leis, Floydene Leis and Dorothy Leis. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome memorials to the Saint Anthony's Building Fund, the Fowler Residential Care Center, and the Minneola District Hospital in care of the funeral home.
