He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Edward and Josephine E. Sturgeon (Lutz); his wife Elizabeth; and his grandson Ryon Sturgeon. He is survived by: his children, Laura Devine (Jim) of Fowler and Michael Sturgeon (Annie) of Kinsley; and his brother Ralph Sturgeon of Harrison. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
