He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo S. Wenta and Betty A. Wenta (Post); his son Brandan; and his sister Kathy. He is survived by: his former wife Brenda Zimmerman; his son Jared (Ashton) of Satanta; his wife Marla Klein; his daughter Haley Cole of Fowler; his daughter-in-law Melisha Jones (Lanny) of Hays; his grandchildren, Kade Wenta, Kace, Kamdyn Wenta, Kane, Jasper Cole and Maddox Jones; and his siblings, Steve (Linda) of Summerfield, FL, Barbara Beckerman of Fowler, Carl of Monte Vista, CO, Deborah Boese (Sam) of Dodge City and Donie (Tanya) of Monte Vista, CO..
