He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ralph and Gladys Emma Padgett (Anderson); and his siblings, Oliver Padgett, Lyman Padgett, Dennis Padgett and Evelyn Edwards.
He is survived by: his spouse Eunice R. Gardner; his sons, Larry Padgett (Sonya) of Meade, Jeff Padgett (Marshan) of Meade and Mike Padgett of Abilene; and also Consequences. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
