With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vicki Lesa Hartmetz of Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on July 16, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Vicki Lesa departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Vicki Lesa may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Vicki Lesa leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Wilcox and Nancy Wilcox. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Hartmetz; her sons, Noah Clark Hartmetz and Luke Merritt Hartmetz; and her siblings, Chuck Wilcox, George Wilcox and Carol Leaming. She is also survived by six grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Vicki Hartmetz Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, PO Box 347, 201 S. Main St., Fort Scott, KS 66701.
