He was predeceased by: his son Matthew Karleskint; and his great grandchildren, Kimber and Kennedy. He is survived by: his siblings, Rita, Esther, Helen, Leo James, Marjorie, Joan, William, Rosalie, Alice, Carol, Patricia, Ruth, Tom, Frederick and Caroline Karleskint; his wife Nancy Karleskint; his sons, Mike Karleskint (Thosha) of Fort Scott, KS., Richard Karleskint (Sheryl) of Park City, KS. and Randy Karleskint (Michelle) of Skiatook, OK.; his grandchildren, Aaron, Amber, Jeremy, Josh, Jonathan, Kari, Jordan, Savannah, Kristin, Ashley, Andrew, Luke and Shayne; and his great grandchildren, Gus, Gaige, Jayston, Jayva, Case, Jalen, Jadyn, Joelle, Matthew, Kyndal and Milo.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cheney Witt Chapel (201 S Main St, Fort Scott, KS 66701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church (1330 215th St, Fort Scott, KS 66701).
