With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Edwin Powell of Fort Scott, Kansas, born in Hiattville, Kansas, who passed away on August 3, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Powell and Sara Hixon Powell; his son Thomas Powell, Jr.; his grandsons, Scott Felt and Joe Johnson; and his brothers, George, Joe, Wayne and Don Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Powell, Sherri Clark (Myron) and Melany Felt; and his sisters, Mary Estenson of Americus, KS and Anna Smith. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
