She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Garten and Glessie I. Garten (Phillips); her sons, Jeffrey Harper and John Philip Harper; and her brother J. L. Garten Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Donald Gene Harper Sr.; her children, Donnie, Donald Harper Jr. (Julie) of Hutchinson, KS, Jonalin Witt (Larry) of Raymore, MO, Sherri Catron of Harrisonville, MO and Timothy Harper (Janet); her siblings, Saleta Hentschel (David), Dee Ora Hunter (Joe) and Mark Garten (Gale); and her grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Laura, Ashleigh, Zach, Michael, Katie, Seth, Jonathan and Shaydon. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Freeman (303 N Washington St, Freeman, MO 64746).
