He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Townsend and Elizabeth Snyder Townsend; his wife Nancy Susan Michael; and his sister Carolyn Price. He is survived by: his sons, Perry Townsend (Jane) of Redfield, KS and Jerry Townsend (Amber) of Chanute, KS; his grandchildren, Adam Townsend and Sarah Bower (Justin); and his great grandchild Aleah Marie Bower. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
