He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Marcellus Felt and Sylvia Mae Beerbower Felt; his grandson Scott Felt; and his sister Marcella Felt Butler. He is survived by: his wife Laura Lea Coonrod; his children, Rickie Felt (Cindy) of San Antonio, Troy Felt (Tami Shirley) of Redfield and Rhonda Kellstadt (Robert) of Mound City; his grandchildren, Kathy Felt, Kenny Felt (Megan), Clayton Dierksen (McKenna), Tyler Felt (Skylar), Haley Arnold (Adam) and Cade Kellstadt (Avery); his great grandchildren, Blair, Waylon, Easton, Knox, Smith, Carver, Creek, Olivia and Macy; and his siblings, Shirley Felt Cary and Gary Felt.
