He was predeceased by: his parent Wilmot "Sandy" Bolin; his daughters, Patricia Marie Bolin and Michella Lynn Bolin; and his brothers, Bobby McClenahan and Ralph Van Winkle.
He is survived by: his mother Mildred Barrett Bolin; his children, Brian Bolin of Ft. Scott, Ron Bolin, Jr. (Brooke) of Ft. Scott, Brandon Hall of Ft. Scott, Blake Bolin of Ft. Scott, Megan Bolin and Kristen; his sisters, Connie Broyles and Patty Frye (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Caden, Dylann, Raegan, KaMiya, Anthony, Trae and Tyce; and his girlfriend Vanessa Hershey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
