He is survived by: his wife Julie Thompson; his children, Jessica Shapiro (Matt Bower), Ambrosia Shapiro (James Greene), Tara Peters (Jason), Natasha Thompson, Richard Thompson and Marty Thompson (Dena); his siblings, Roneil Elbrader (Jeff Neely), Randi Clements, Rowena Otipoby and Regina Swisher; and also Claire Bower. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
