He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hirons and Edith Hirons Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Joan Hirons of Year's Eve; his sons, Michael (Julie) of Leawood and Scott (Alison) of Overland Park; his grandchildren, Shade of Overland Park, Phoebe of Overland Park and Nora Hirons of Overland Park; and his siblings, Franklin Hirons (Lori) of St and Sandra Garrison (Dan) of Asheville.
