With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Nation of Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on April 5, 2023 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Les, Dorothy Nation, Edward and Margaret Higgins; and his brother-in-law Larry Lee Shirley.

He is survived by: his wife Lisa Weddle; his daughters, Isabella and Leah; his pet Annie; his parents, Ruth Nation and Butler of Missouri; his siblings, Brent (Billie) of Hereford, Craig (Nikki) of Rich Hill, Missouri and Brenda Anders (Travis) of Adrian, Missouri; his daughter Kayla Poole; his parents-in-law, Shirley Goltra (Tim) and Ray Weddle (Connie); and his siblings, Steven Weddle (Stana) and Tessa Feagins (Adam) of Fort Scott, Kansas.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.

Memorials are suggested to Nation Children's Scholarship Fund and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, PO Box 347, 201 S. Main St., Fort Scott, Kansas 66701.
