He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wheeler; and his children, Rachel Wheeler Pliler (Michael Pliler), Joseph Lyon, Steven Lyon (Sabrina Lyon), James Waring (Alicia Waring), Teresa Adkins (Bill Adkins), Connie Koole (Jerry Koole) and Beverly Heer (Jeremy Heer).
