It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Alice Holder of Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank William Sherlock and Gladys Irene Brown Sherlock; her husband Gene; her son Ron Holder; and her children-in-law, Richard Adams, Arthur Poppe and Belinda Holder.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dixie Adams of Laurel, Barbara Poppe of Lincoln and Irene Bradbury (Gerald, Jr.) of Redfield, Kansas; and her sisters, Pearl Lavender, Opal LaFever and Ruth Weiser. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
Memorials are suggested to the First Southern Baptist Church and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Ft. Scott, KS 66701.
