We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2024, at the age of 72, Marsha Kay Lafferty of Fort Scott, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Merriman and Beatrice Willis Merriman; her husband Paul Lafferty; and her siblings, Carol Durbin, Everett Merriman, Larry Merriman and Steve Merriman.

She is survived by: her children, Brandy Leslie (Brent) of Ft. Scott and Kelly Gould of Stockton, Kansas; her grandchildren, Danyelle Daly (Bryce) of Ft. Scott, Alyssa Leslie of Ft. Scott, Beanna Leslie (Chris Johnson) of Ft. Scott and Cameron Bishop of Ft. Scott; her great grandchildren, Bryelle, Colson, Jaycee, Hendrix and Keeghan; her significant other Dale Savage; and her brother Kenny Merriman (Liz) of Ft. Scott. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Marsha Lafferty Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Ft. Scott, KS 66701.
