We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Lavina Mae Giddens of Fort Scott, Kansas, born in Hume, Missouri. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Standeford and Mabel Castlebury Standeford; her husband Clinton Giddens; and her son Michael Giddens. She is survived by: her children, April Giddens of Prairie Village, KS, Randy Giddens (Teresa) of Ft. Scott, KS and Peggy Farmer (Mark) of Littleton, CO; her great grandchildren, Kenton, Devin, Eian, Jennica and Langdon Giddens of Ft. Scott, KS; and her great great grandchild Garyk Piatt of Springfield, MO.. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
To guard others from losing a loved one this way, and as a show of respect for Lavina, the family is asking that everyone attending her service wear a mask.
