He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wood and Lena Wood (Query); his wife Jennie; his daughter Suella Hornby; his brother Leland; his sister-in-law Wanda Wood; his brother Walter Wood; and his sister-in-law Rosalie Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Stan Wood (Denise) of Easton, Melody Richardson (Lonnie) of Louisburg and Joy Parke (Phil) of Raymore, Missouri; his son-in-law Charles Hornby of Nevada, MO; his grandchildren, Briana Wood, Nathan Parke (Natalie), Reagan Wood, Jaron Parke (Brooke), Graham Wood, Carter Richardson (Meredith), Ross Parke, Alexandra Kudej (Brice), Annelise Parke, Davis Richardson and Sawyer Richardson; his great grandchildren, Noah, Hope, Zoe Parke (Nathan), Adalyn Parke, Jaron and Brooke; his siblings, C. Byrne Wood and Loreta; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Jent and Georgia Wood.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fort Scott Church of the Nazarene and left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.
