He was predeceased by: his parent Lillie Norbury; his wife Norma Church Phillips; and his grandparents, Sidney and Dessie Clapp Norbury. He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Rost; his son-in-law Bill Rost of Fort Scott; his stepdaughters, Donna Newsome (Robert) of Moundville and Nora Smalley (Larry) of Butler; and his grandchildren, Katrina Routh (Daniel) of Springfield, Ryan Rost (John Hawkins), Kandice Rost of Fort Scott, Daniel Routh, Zane Hawkins, Steve Newsome (Tammy) of Houston, Robin Benn (Bob) of Nevada, Stacy Newsome of Nevada, Ronnie Smalley (Kammie) of Butler, Terry Smalley (Sheila) of Butler and Meloday Roach (Rusty) of Butler. He is also survived by grandkids and fifteen step great great grandkids.
