She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Reed and Clara Frances Milburn Reed; her husband John "Dean" Povenmire; her children, Larry Povenmire and Linda Sheppard; and her siblings, Earl, Roy, Vaun, Marion, Richard Reed and Helen Singmaster.

She is survived by: her sons, Danny Povenmire of Las Vegas, NV and Allen Povenmire (Teri); and her sister Wilma Strickland of Pleasant Hill, MO. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
