It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce E. Woods of Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Rachel M. Woods; and her siblings, JoAnne Fewell, Gerald L. Woods, Marvin R. Woods, Marita Eileen Woods and Mickie E Brown.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Elyana Ryan Woods; and her son Ryan of Kansas City. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, per Joyce’s request, the family will accept monetary donations that will go towards a memorial scholarship fund for educators. Contributions may be left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall Street, P.O. Box 309, Fort Scott, Kansas, 66701.
