It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Albert Brungardt (Fort Scott, Kansas), born in Russell, Kansas, who passed away on May 31, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael "Mike" Brungardt and Mary Kaberlein Brungardt; his wife Mary Lou; his stepson Brad Farmer; his grandson Paul James Decker; and his siblings, Raymond, Clem, Richard Brungardt, Eleanor Kuhn and Maggie Leikiam.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Deborah Lea Vernon (Bob) of Apache Junction and Paula Dee Eastwood (Jim) of Ft. Scott, Kansas; and his brother Robert Brungardt of Nebraska. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
