It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanna Woody in Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Earl Foster and Pearlie Wilma Hawkins Foster; her husband Jim; her sons, Willard Woody and Rev. Ron Woody; and her siblings, Calvin Foster, Barbara Fay Simmons and Virginia Flo Willard.
She is survived by: her children, Linda VanSickle (Gary) of Ft. Scott, Gloria Guzman (Frank) of Lee's Summit, Dr. Michael Woody (Linda) of Carthage, Cynthia Leech of Grandview, Dedra Woebbecke (Michael) of Shawnee and Marty Woody (Gayle) of Bronaugh, Missouri.; and her daughter-in-law Muriel Woody of Webb City, Missouri.
