She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Nelson and Helen Turk Nelson; her daughter Lynette Vann; and her siblings, Anthony Nelson, Jr. and Carol Ford.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Vann of Fort Scott and Keith Vann (Sherry) of Fort Scott; her siblings, Robert Nelson, Ricky Nelson, Katherine Hopkins, Barbra Cruikshank, Rosemary Bradley and Victoria Nelson; and her grandchildren, Tarrell Vann (Erin) of Fort Scott, Darvin Willard (Amy) of Paola, Trever Vann of Fort Scott, E. J. Willard of Omaha, Vanessa Willard of Fort Scott, Kayla Woody of Fort Scott, Heather Jackson of Uniontown, Sabrina Jackson of Colony Kansas and Greg Jackson of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
