He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hargraves Belknap, Sr. and Thelma Francine Belknap (Warwick); and his siblings, Robert H. Belknap and Thelma Sue DeMent. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Allen Belknap (Anita) of Chetopa, Kansas, Deborah Kaye Fouts (Dean) of Mound Valley and Kimberly Diane Roberts (Tom) of Fort Scott. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
