It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Erwin Golden Sr. of Fort Scott, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal S. Golden and Elsie L. Foote Golden; and his former wife Connie Hayes. He is survived by: his sons, James E. Golden, Jr. of Ft. Scott and Daniel Golden (Joyce) of Ft. Scott; and his siblings, John, Dean, Dale Golden and Colleen Schmersal. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
