He was predeceased by: his parents, John Emmerson and Evelyn Emmerson; and his daughter Cindy Emmerson. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherri (David Nash) of Peculiar, MO, Angie (Joe Dauben) of Texas and Suzanne (Matt Quick) of Fort Scott, KS.; his grandchildren, Adrienne Rinehart (Brendan), Meredith Marshall (Colin), Dakotah Gettler, Benjamin Gettler (Ashley), Samantha Nash, Peyton Quick and Grayson Quick; his great grandchildren, Lucas Nash, Selah, Emerson Marshall and Oliver Gettler; his siblings, Fred Emmerson (Peggy) and Marilyn Hill (Tom); and his former wife Rita Johnston-Emmerson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
