He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie George Johnson and Elizabeth Trouslot; and his brother Ronald Hill. He is survived by: his wife Alberta Herring; his children, Betty Hedges of Valley Center, Bobby Johnson (Becky) of Wichita, Susie Marsh (Oke) of Rose Hill, Jody Harper (Dale) of Ft. Scott, Chuck Johnson (Dawn) of Centerville and Patty Simpson (Brady) of Garland, Kansas; and his brother Dennis Hill (Carolyn) of Benton, Kansas.. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cheney Witt Chapel (201 S Main St, Fort Scott, KS 66701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
