He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Mildfelt and Catherine Endres Mildfelt; and his siblings, Gene, Tom Mildfelt, Nellie Mitchum and Ruth Steichen.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Karleskint; and his children, Tom Mildfelt (Sandy) of Parsons, Mike Mildfelt (Debi) of Winfield, Dan Mildfelt (Lisa) of Chanute, Todd Mildfelt (Kelli) of Baldwin and LeAnne Wiles (Kevin) of Parsons, Kansas.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church (705 S Holbrook St, Fort Scott, KS 66701).
