He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman McReynolds and Ethel Leona Pitts McReynolds; his wife Janice Lea Spencer McReynolds; his son Jimmy Thompson; and his siblings, Robert Lowe, Jane Loane and Judy Scofield.
He is survived by: his son Jason McReynolds (Holly) of Fort Scott; and his grandchildren, Jacob Cole McReynolds, Zoey Brown, Andrew Brown and Khya Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
