He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richey and Lilian Richey (Bailey); his wife Peggy; his siblings, John Richey and Jackie Peterson; and his nephew Johnny Richey.
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey; his daughter-in-law Pam Richey; his grandchildren, Denise Engelhardt, Lucas Marshall and Christopher Richey; his great grandchild Carter Richey; and his sister Peggy Mason. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
