Scott and DiAnna Dakon (Ronald) of Smithville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Ricky Ann Vargas (Ariel), Austin Shelden, Alek Shelden (Megan) and Ashton Dixon; his great grandchildren, Lola, Santiago and Laney Vargas; his siblings, John "Duke" Zabrinas, Donald Shrakes, Ronnie Shrakes, Larry Shrakes, Carol Shrakes, Kathy Shrakes and Janet Shrakes; his cousin J. R. Stewart (Wendy) of Ft. Scott; and his wife Gail L. Guffey.
