It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Roberta Chaplin of Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on June 29, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wiggans and Doris Spaur Wiggans; and her brother Mark Wiggans. She is survived by: her former husbands, David Hathaway and Raymond Chaplin; her daughters, Rachel Thompson of Ft. Scott and Rhonda Cole (Ben) of Ft. Scott; her stepchildren, Chris Chaplin (Stephanie), Kim Wright (Jay) and Jeff Chaplin; and her brother Richard Wiggans (Dorothy). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
