It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Marie Guss of Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Guss and Katherine Guss; and her sister Mary Ann Martin. She is survived by: her children, Candy Turner of Fort Scott, Michael Harper (Amy) of Fort Scott, Dustin Harper (Alison) of Fort Scott and Scott Harper of Fort Scott; her brothers, Stewart Guss (Carla), Bruce Guss and Roy Guss; and her grandchildren, Kourtney Harper, Lily Harper, Landon Turner, London Turner, Charlee Harper, Ella Harper and Memphis Harper. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cheney Witt Chapel (201 S Main St, Fort Scott, KS 66701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
