It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Everett Dalton of Fort Scott, Kansas, born in Mapleton, Kansas, who passed away on March 30, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Dalton (Cook) and Thomas W. Dalton; his former spouse Shirley I. Robinson; his wife Gloria A. Huff (Stanley); his daughter Penny Wicken; and his siblings, Robert, Charley, Floyd, Margaret and Roberta.

He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Hughes (Mark) of Monument, CO, Brenda Douglas (Mark) of Edgerton, KS and Greg Dalton (Shelly) of Louisburg, KS; his grandchildren, Chris Beveridge (Moira), Jake Douglas (Amanda), Jared Douglas (Chloe), Amberly Ramsey (Aaron), Hannah Dalton and Thomas Dalton; and his brother Ron Dalton of Olathe, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.

Memorials may be made in Ed's honor to Olathe Health Hospice or the American Lung Association and left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, PO Box 347, 201 S. Main St., Ft. Scott, KS 66701.
