He was predeceased by: his father Donald Glen Hunziker; his son Drew Pelzer; and his sister Christie Belcher. He is survived by: his wife Carol Michelle Baird; his mother Maxine Hunziker (Christy) of Fort Scott; his children, Brandy Clayton (Cody) of Fort Scott, Amber Hunziker of Spring Hill and Ryan Hunziker (Amber) of Fort Scott; and his brother David Hunziker of Fort Scott. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
