We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Donald L. Woods of Fort Scott, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Rachel Maxine Woods; and his siblings, JoAnn Fewell, Mickie E. Brown, Joyce E. Woods, Marita Eileen Bullock, Gerald L. Woods and Marvin R. Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Frances L. "Cindy" Woods; his son Arthur Hodge II of Las Vegas; his siblings, Melvin Woods (Raisa) of Olathe and Jackie M. Vann of Joplin, Missouri.; and his cousin Idella Brown (D. K. Brown). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Neither the cold, heat, rain, snow nor a pandemic kept Donald away from a moving job.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Kansas University Cancer Center, or Mount Olive Church of God in Christ Scholarship Fund, and may be left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall Street, P.O. Box 309, Fort Scott, Kansas, 66701.
