He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Frank Shelton and Mildred Irene Shelton; his brother Dennis Shelton; and his pet Barkley. He is survived by: his wife Shelly Turner; his son Braden; his sisters, Linda Evans and Lana Beerbower (Gil) of Fort Scott; his sister-in-law Sue Shelton of Redfield; his aunt Lora Mason of Pittsburg; his mother-in-law Sharon Ashcraft; and his sister-in-law Tammy Pruitt (Terry) of Fort Scott. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
