We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2023, at the age of 82, Charley Johnston Jr. of Fort Scott, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Johnston and Rose Hines Johnston; his siblings-in-law, Lucille Langdon, Elaine Ropp, Joe Langdon, Ronnie Simmons, Jim Emmerson, Doug McCurley and Cedric McCurley; and his niece Cindy Emmerson.
He is survived by: his wife Ann McCurley; his sister Rita Emmerson; his sons, Vince Johnston (Leigh) of Pittsburg, KS and Brian Johnston (Deborah) of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Jessica Dreiling (Grant), Kyle Johnston, Chase Johnston and Nicole Johnston; his great grandchild Kip Dreiling; and his siblings-in-law, Bernie Simmons, Kathy McCurley and Doug Ropp (Patty). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
