It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jean Carnes (Fort Scott, Kansas), born in Stafford, Kansas, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth Carnes. She is survived by: her mother Earline Costley Carnes; her husband Lawrence Nathan Heller; her children, Laura Katherine and William John Henry Heller; her sister Suzanne Hildebrand (Don) of Stafford, Kansas; and her sisters-in-law, Susan Heller and Ruth Catan of Bethesda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
