He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey Shepard and Daisy Bell Blackburn Shepard; and his siblings, Charles, Lloyd, Wayne Shepard, Virginia Walters (Jupe), Ruby Walters, Bonnie Dack, Donna McElroy and Erma Shepard.
He is survived by: his former wife Kay Knight; his daughters, Rhonda Joellen Rundle (Lenis) of Carterville, MO and Kristen Kaye Reel (Darin) of Altamont, KS.; his wife Virginia Elbrader (Ginny); his grandchildren, Audry Enochs, Ashley Rundle, Shelby Farmer, Kyle Reel and Meagan Genton; and his great grandchildren, Conor, Tahlia, Brook, Rylan and Jaxson.
