It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvena Carol Russell (Fort Scott, Kansas), who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Bloom, Jr. and Freda Hamlett Bloom; and her sister Sharon Kester. She is survived by: her daughter Laurie; her husband Bob; her daughters, Montana, Barbie Johnson of Ft. Scott and Sharon Michelle "Shelly" Allen (Brett) of Fountain, Colorado; her grandchildren, Lindsey LaRocque (Brandon), Katie, Kellie, Keriann Johnson, Kylie and Zaine Allen; her great grandchildren, Kelsie, Alexa, Carter, Hadley and Lydia; and her niece Leita Kester.
