He was predeceased by: his parents, James Morton and Minnie Maude Cox (Hockett); his wife Sheila Vieira; and also, Robert, Jane, Gwendolyn, Joe, Bessie, Jack, Ira (Ikey), Joy, Winifred, Earl, Garold and Katherine.
He is survived by: his children, David, Darryl (Barb), Donna (Dominic), Diana (Julio) and Devin; his grandchildren, Casey, Trisha, Jordan, Michael (Kelsey), Lauren, Julia, Aaron, Gabriel, Micah, Rachel and Alex; his great grandchildren, Keldyn, Langston and Ryan; and his sister Delores. He is also survived by his in-laws in England, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family recommends donations to St Patrick's Catholic Church 1086 N 94th Street Kansas City Kansas, or Wreaths Across America – Leavenworth National Cemetery.
