He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto A. Fischer and Minnie E. Fischer (Flair); his siblings, Jean Kirkpatrick and Millard Fischer; and his nephew Michael Fischer.
He is survived by: his wife Cleo; his sons, Mark D. Fischer (Sherrie) of Dodge City and Dr. Scott D. Fischer (Jeanie) of Wright; his sister Peg Nelson of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Jeff Winter (Layna), Jamie Lockhart (Curtis), Janell Urban (Timothy), Dr. Ashley Fischer, Taylor, Christian, Caleb, Chloe (Eli Thompson), Scott, Lauren, David and Daniel Fischer; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Paige, Emily, Harley Winter, Molly, Kendall Lockhart, Cole and Carson Urban. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
