He was predeceased by: his parents, Garrett Roy and Ida I. Hensley (Ireland); his wife Helen J. Brock; his son Joel Hensley; and his siblings, Charles, Roy, Orvis Hensley, Dorlene Nolder and Alma Kirk.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Stuart (Jim), Justin Hensley (Angalea), Jack Hensley (Sara Hipsher) and Sean Hensley (Kristi); his daughter-in-law Shannon Hensley; his grandchildren, Morgan Konrade (Kirk), Beau Stuart, Aimee Stuart (Nathan Pledger), Melissa Jo Hensley, William "Billy" Hensley, Aaron Hensley (Amanda), Garrett Lee Hensley (Christy Porkorny), Neil Wayne Hensley, Sydney Leeper, Jacob Hensley and Austyn Hensley; his sister Sharon Stephenson; and his sister-in-law Donna Hensley. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
