She is survived by: her husband Robert Nelson; her children, Cheri Armstrong (Bill), Chris Meyer, Debra Ann Warmack (John), Robert D. Nelson, Jr. (Ann) and Barbara Bontreger; her siblings, Fred Whitwam, Jack Whitwam, Marilyn Hinchman of Topeka, Lalonnie Large of Topeka and Roxana Whitehead; her grandchildren, Erica Murphy (Josh), Brooks Gibbs (Jill), Billy Armstrong (Amanda), David Armstrong (Bonnie), Sarah Tegtmeyer (John), Anna Allen (Adrian), Cheris Nelson, Nelson McCarty (Kathryn), Alexandria Bontrager, Ben Bontrager and Emma Bontrager; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Murphy, Bradon, Jackson Gibbs, William, Samuel, Davy, Abby and Coley Armstrong.
