She was predeceased by: her parents, Garry Le Roy Skinner and Virgie Rogers; her stepfather Walter Rogers; her brothers, Dean and Max Skinner; her husbands, Elmer Schaffer and Marvin Phillips; and her great grandchild Brennan Fine.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Schaffer (Lorie) of Brighton, Missouri, Linda Pyle (Tom) of Towanda, Kimberly Kellum (Le Roy) of Burlison and Vickie Fine (Rich) of Marion, Kansas; her siblings, Margene Dornbush of Marion, Kansas and John Skinner of Marion, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Derrick Schaffer, Samantha Falk, Alex Pyle, Alecia Pyle, Austin Pyle, Adam Pyle, Chelsea Bennett, Corbin Kellum, Joe Fine, Zan Fine, Matt Fine and Heather Fine.
Memorial contributions in Mary Lou's name may be directed to "Aubree Calvert Fund" (her blind granddaughter) to help defray equipment and educational items and to help purchase a seeing eye dog and continue her education.
