He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Ball Jr. and Juliet H. Tipton Ball. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Ann Wells of Nashville; and his children, Steve Ball (Judy Ball) of Roeland Park, KS, Dan Ball (Lori Golze) of Hood River, Oregon, Julie Ball of Kansas City, MO and Susan Boyer (Tim Boyer) of Lenexa, KS. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
